Hi gal pals! I’m Zaina Banihani! I started The Chic Chemist in 2018 as a way to express my love for shopping and science. During the day I work away in a pharmaceutical lab in my fancy-dancy lab coat and by night I am stalking deals everywhere and anywhere! I am a big clearance rack girl and if I’m ever lost in a store please just go directly to clearance and I’ll be there under the piles and piles of deals I have most likely found.
I live in Cherry Hill, NJ with my sweetie pie bubby boy Michael. He’s a 4th grade teacher (so cute I know). We’ve known each other for ten years and it was just a matter of time until we became a “thing”. We have one little puppy girl, a tri-colored standard Australian shepherd named Remi. He is an avid Navy football fan and along the way I’ve become a semi-fan also. I’m very glad and lucky to have him in my life on good days and bad.
I’m a recent University of Delaware graduate (GO BLUE HENS!!) who loves wine, hamburgers, cooking dinners, and binge-watching Netflix. When I’m not blogging, I’m most likely relaxing on the couch watching TLC, Food Network or HGTV or I’m snuggling with my mom at her house! I want to find more hobbies so any suggestions are more than welcome!!
