I love my mother and grandmother with basically every ounce of my being. The two of them have helped me to develop into the strong willed and smart woman I am today. For Mother’s Day, I am excited to spend time with them at Top Golf. But, I do know that sometimes something little can make their days better. Thanks to them and the mothers I work with, I put together some awesome gifts any mom/grandmom/aunt/dog mom would love!
Most of the gifts are perfect for last minute buying! Some may take longer than others in terms of shipping but they would still be great gifts!
Gifts for Mom/Grandmom/Aunt/Dog Mom/any important female in your life
- Flowers – always a good standby. Especially last minute.
- Herb plants – for the mom who loves to cook. Look for a kit she can grow in the kitchen.
- Favorite wine – who doesn’t love wine!
- Amazon gift card – good for the mom who loves to do online and random shopping. Also good for the mom who loves to read Kindle style.
- Audible gift card – like me, for the mom who can’t get enough of audible books. You can also gift a book.
- Spa gift card – this one and the next are great for pampering that mom you love.
- Manicure gift card – see number 6!
- Grocery store gift card – specifically choose a store that does grocery delivery. A lifesaver for the busy mom.
- Framed photo – my mom loves having framed pictures of, well you guessed it, her kids. They are all over her office and her home. Who couldn’t use another?
- Raincoat for the spring – the rain here has been ridiculous lately and if your mom is like my mom, her raincoat could use an upgrade. A matching umbrella would be cool too!
- “Day off” coupon – who doesn’t know a mom who needs a day off from being mom. Be creative!
- Shari’s Berries – there is no resisting a chocolate covered strawberry. I bet you order some for yourself too!
- Rachel Hollis Book – any of her books would be great. I love Rachel Hollis!
- Tumbler – there are all kinds of tumblers out there and sometimes you can find some with cool sayings on them like “From the Best Daughter Ever!” lol
- Glass water bottle – these are so pretty and of course water bottles are great to have and use. I just don’t suggest a glass one if your mom is a bit clumsy!
- Coupon book from hubby or kiddos – I’m a little old to be called a kiddo but create a coupon book to say I love you. Maybe have hubby and kiddos do some of the chores that mom usually does.
- Date day planned by anyone but her – as long as your mom will give up control to planning (by the way that’s not my mom) then plan a fun outing with her and surprise her!
- Candle – the soothing smell of a candle burning can be super relaxing at the end of a long day for your mom.
- Comfy sneakers – my nana loves her slip on Sketchers! She swears by them. Grab a pair for the busy mom in your life.
- Monogrammed tote bag – while this can’t really be a last minute gift, a personalized tote can show her that you went that extra mile to personalize something just for her.
You can take some of these and put them into a basket to make a complete gift. For example you can put the wine, tumbler, and book together for the perfect relaxation day.
I won’t say which I’m getting my mom because she is my editor hehe and I won’t be saying the one for my nana either because she supports the blog! But come Saturday I’ll share what I got them!!
