With Thanksgiving right around the corner I decided it was time we put together some outfit inspo!!!! I for one have my outfit all planned out!!! And the star of the show is my gorgana Loft red corduroy blazer!!!!! I styled it three ways as you’ll see!! I did it in a way that you could find these pieces in your closet! If you never need to find a new outfit just look at these pictures and read my thoughts and you can totally find something to wear with something you already own!
I thought about this in three ways: fancy, casual, athleisure! All of which really showcase the blazer!!! In the last year I’ve become somewhat of a blazer hog and just can’t stop buying them! They’re classic pieces that can really expand your wardrobe! From the suit blazer to a casual one, everyone needs at least one in their closet!
Fancy first!!! I am way way obsessed with LBD (little black dresses)! And what better way to accentuate my body while still looking classic then pairing the blazer and dress together! To add some sexiness I threw on my over the knee boots! Perfect fancier outfit but still comfortable! You can go through your closet and recreate this outfit by taking any simple dress you have, putting a cardigan/blazer on top and a pair of boots!
Casual is next and probably my favorite! I really wanted the blazer to pop so I went with skinny jeans, a white long sleeve tee and my wedge sneakers! With an outfit like this you can totally add texture by replacing the tee with a button down or light sweater! And you can switch up the style of jeans: boyfriend, flare, distressed! And shoes are based on how you feel! I love a good slip on sneakers so that’s what I did but you could do a flat or short boot! The options are endless!!
Lastly is the athleisure look! This is the hardest for me because it isn’t necessarily my normal look! But I figured out a really adorable way to put it together!! My #1 purchase of spanx leggings paired with a cute printed sweatshirt, sneakers and the blazer!! I know everyone has a pair of leggings, sneakers and a sweatshirt in your closet! And I trust you can pair them together! Just throw a thicker knit cardigan and you’ve got the perfect comfy outfit!
