I’ve always wanted to have the most perfect pearly white teeth but I never realized it can be so hard to achieve that goal. But then at the end of 2018 I started looking into Tarte Cosmetics and their vegan and cruelty free products. I found their Pearly Girl teeth whitening pen and I was sold.
I ordered the travel size and normal size so I could get the full effect!! The instructions are kind of clear but not I didn’t fully understand. they say to twist the bottom of the pen to get the gel out; simple and straightforward. It does take a little for the gel to move it’s way to the top. Then you apply it while smiling. Again simple. At this point you can start to see it take effect almost instantly. It’s crazy to watch and so cool!! This is where things got confusing for me. It says to apply while smiling and wait 30 seconds. But afterwards it says don’t eat or drink for 15 minutes.. I was just unsure what to do after the 30 seconds. Do I close my mouth? Can I swallow? Is it supposed to dry? So for me personally I went about my business but followed the no food or drink rule for 30 minutes.
You can apply up to four times a day. I’ve done it a maximum of two times and have seen a big improvement. I’ve tried the whitening toothpastes but they didn’t do much for me. I also feel comfortable using this product because I actually know the ingredients and do not feel overwhelmed by the list either.
I highly recommend this whitening pen. If you’re just looking to try it out buy the travel size before committing to the full size!
I try to use the pen twice a day; once in the morning and once in the late afternoon! I’ve seen significant improvements!! I’ve only been using it for about a month and I’m so happy I tried something new!!
